This is a weird one...

...but just watched Sophie Dahl's new cooking programme on BBC and there's quite a few things about it that make me go ooo!

Firstly the food she cooks...a big thick cheese bubbling omlette, crispy skined hallibut with sweet potato chips, a chocolote pot with brandy and cherry compote at the bottom, peanut butter fudge and a rocket fuel martini!! Mmm!

Secondly, her cool house! It's like a collection of cool random antiques, and a mix of design of which I'm not really sure the era, possibly 30's/50's/60's/ArtDeco. Rectangular white tiles, with green wallpaper. A cool blue metal teapot with cups and saucers that don't match. As much as I love modern, contemporary design...you gotta love the old stuff too!

Thirdly, the stories she tells...her imagination is so cool, and she describes everything with examples or memories with great detail.

Lastly, when she walks about London (I think) she goes into great shops, one that had walls and walls of different cheeses on old wooden shelves and another full of the cool antiques. Only in London would you find such variety, I imagine!

I couldn't really find any pictures of the cool antiques...I think it's because I don't know the style/era. Anyone know?

Check out her food here.
