Yes that's right people...these are the ACTUAL items that once sat on the desk of Sarah Moriarty. Surely to be worth millions when she becomes chief editor of Time/Nat Geo/Phoenix magazine, these sought after items will be kept under heightened security until a small fortune can be made from them.
The Limited Edition Karl Lagerfeld Coca-Cola bottle bears a dent, believed to have been made by SM herself, and the notes contain genuine thoughts of the budding lady of letters including such quotes as "just so that we're clear", "well you know" and "well can you imagine who".

"Straddling" bus
This is quite possibly one of the most innovative designs ever...in my opinion! It's a bus/light-rail system designed in China that is shaped like a tunnel so it can pass over traffic, or traffic can pass under it when it's stopped at a station. They have thought of everything when designing it....if a car under it gets too near to the sides it sounds a warning, if a truck that is too high to fit under it approaches it warns the driver, if it's in an accident all the sides open up and form slides as escape routes, they've designed for it to be boarded and alighted from either the sides or from the top...the list goes on!
Check out the video here (it is in Chinese but there's a translation and it shows you all the ideas)

Sarah Moriarty's Office
I like this photo...I think there's lots of interesting things to look at in it!
My favourite items are, in this order, the page of notes, the coke bottle and the purse...more so the positioning of it, kind of left down with her keys after coming back from the Parisian cafe on the corner downstairs. She ran down to to buy her teabag (to have later while she reads the next chapter of her classic novel about Henry VIII). While she was in the cafe she saw the Karl Lagerfeld coke bottle in the small refrigerator beside the basket of baguettes. She bought it for the bottle of course, she'll drink it tomorrow as she discusses the new collection of Dior sunglasses with her collegue over the partition between them. she's been daydreaming about them.
I like her blog too
